Hiroshima Day on Sunday August 7th in Gronau

Dear friends,

the last few days have been alarming. Every evening at prime time, there is a completely fact-free demand to simply give up the nuclear phase-out - disguised as a "stretching operation". Why? Because countries like Bavaria and BaWü, but also North Rhine-Westphalia, have been successfully blocking the energy transition for years, and because nuclear France imports electricity and gas from Germany due to its many ailing nuclear power plants that are currently off the grid.

This is madness: anyone who sabotages the energy transition with nuclear, coal and gas should be saved by the last nuclear power from Germany - in Bavaria there are even demands for the Gundremmingen C scrap pile to be restarted. And in Munich, the SPD and the Greens like that.

There is no longer any talk of expanding renewables. Nothing happens there, we have old coal-fired power plants and three ramshackle nuclear power plants - totally sick.

All of this pleases RWE and EON and their uranium enrichment subsidiary Urenco, which of course earns a lot from all of this. And don't forget: uranium enrichment is a key to the atomic bomb. But nuclear weapons are also experiencing a scary renaissance - also here in Germany at the Büchel nuclear weapons base in the Eifel. But the more than 200 dead of Hiroshima and Nagasaki warn us all more urgently than ever: Nuclear weapons must be outlawed and abolished!!

That's why we're calling again today for a bike demo with a rally for Hiroshima Day on Sunday, August 7th, in Gronau. The bike demo starts at 13 p.m. at Gronau train station, the rally then starts at 14 p.m. in front of the Gronau uranium enrichment plant, Roentgenstraße.

So out on the streets - for the nuclear phase-out and the energy transition - against nuclear armament!

Nuclear Power Plant in Surry County in southeastern Virginia...

- Suffered on July 27, 1972 two workers fatally scalded, after routine valve adjustment resulted in steam leaking through a gap in a vent line.

- On May 8, 1979, FBI agents examined a white crystalline substance that had been poured into 62 fresh fuel assemblies stored at the plant, a day after plant officials made the discovery. Westinghouse metallurgists found no damage to the fuel assemblies, including the metal containers and zirconium rods that held the fresh fuel.

- On December 9, 1986, a steam explosion in the non-nuclear part of Unit 2 injured eight workers (the condensate supply line ruptured due to internal erosion and overpressure when the supply pump check valve failed). Four of them later died.

- On April 16, 2011, a tornado struck the power plant's electrical switchgear, disrupting the primary power supply to the power plant's cooling pumps and allowing the backup diesel generators to be activated without incident.

- On August 23, 2011, an earthquake in central Virginia automatically shut down Dominion's North Anna reactors 11 miles from the epicenter. The similar reactors at Surry remained operational and Dominion issued a "Notice of Unusual Event" (the lowest level of a four-level emergency scale) at the Surry power plant, which was lifted later that same day.

On July 26, 1959, a partial meltdown occurred in the Sodium Reactor Experiment (SRE), a sodium-cooled reactor with an output of 7,5 to 20 MW at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory near Moorpark, California.

According to a study by nuclear safety engineer David Lochbaum in 2006, the cause of the accident was that during the previous operation Tetralin had blocked the cooling liquid sodium through a leak, which resulted in an uncontrollable increase in energy and overheating of the reactor. Because of the high heat, 10 of 43 fuel elements were damaged and radioactive substances were released. The reactor was shut down in February 1964 ...

Sweden | Forsmark

July 25, 2006 (INES 2) NPP Forsmark, SWE

(INES 2 - Classification!)

A short circuit in an outdoor switchgear of the network near the boiling water reactors caused the emergency shutdown of unit 1 and led to a series of subsequent failures in the plant in a complex scenario. Due to a design error, disconnecting the plant from the grid and switching to house load operation - in which the power plant uses its own electricity to run important ancillary units - did not work as planned. The attempt to connect safety-relevant equipment to the emergency power supply failed because of an improper converter setting. The start-up of two of the four emergency generators was aborted, which also led to a partial power failure in the main control room.

Forsmark (Sweden)

On July 25, 2006, Sweden apparently narrowly escaped a nuclear catastrophe. Reactor 1 at Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant was cut off from power supply due to a short circuit. Only two out of four emergency generators started up. An investigation into the accident revealed that the short circuit had failed computers, speakers, and displays, preventing personnel from seeing the reactor data clearly. "For example, the water level in the reactor dropped significantly as a result of the scrambling, but the exact level remained unclear because of the power outage."

According to the former chief designer of the nuclear power plant, Höglund, you were only 20 minutes away from a meltdown.

Nuclear lobbyists | Runtime | Friends of MIC

VIVA SUMMER DUMP

Nuclear lobbyists, term preacher, MIC and a few really pointy names.

What could be the appropriate nickname for Christian Lindner? Wind vanes and pocket fillers are no longer in the running, they are already taken or too unspecific, because one can justifiably say that of far too many.

Christian Lindner actually wanted to make progressive politics for Germany together with the SPD and the Greens, with new ideas, fresh approaches and so on. At least that's what he said when he joined the traffic light coalition, and now he's pleading with the one-issue activists MerzthutjanixKini Jödler and others "Friends of MIC' for a retrospective 'back to the future'. Ultimately, the former conscientious objector, who later applied to become a reserve officer in the Bundeswehr, fought side by side with the C-Block, the AFD and the honorary chairman of the MIK-Moscow Vladimir PutIn for the preservation and continuation of the existing balance of power.

There is no such thing as bad publicity!

The insolvency of an Internet company co-founded by Christian Lindner and the attempt to "optimize" his own Wikipedia article, which at least partially failed in 2012, are actually almost the only incidents in his success story. The sexist sayings are probably to be seen as a pathetic attempt to draw fans from the camp of beer tent humor (note: that's Kini's métier) to his side. All these exciting stories can be found in Wikipedia, in the Tagesspiegel and on taz.de read up...
How to advertise: PR wizard Lindner

What the Merzthutjanix has his reconnaissance plane, the Lindner has his 911

The fact that he wants to keep his super combustion engine from the VW subsidiary Porsche can be forgiven as a personal quirk, but the fact that he basically wants to keep the e-fuel combustion engine roaring is obviously a pandering to the diehards among motorsport sound enthusiast. However, offering to make a phone call is very bad, and the publicly expressed joy of doing so may embarrass one or the other. In any case, the car industry as such does not need management consulting and/or lobbying for the combustion engine, its vehicle fleet runs just as well or even better with green electricity.

Keeping nuclear power plants running even though it makes absolutely no financial sense? Until now, one could always assume that finance ministers could count...
That sounds like: Bankruptcy Lindner

So what's the deal with these seemingly random maneuvers?

Even before the coalition negotiations, he knew very well that the nuclear phase-out is his always open emergency exit from the traffic light coalition. For him, such gimmicks are probably a sign of his political genius and cleverness, while others see such actions as an inherently unreliable partner.

So is he the one? Submarine Lindner by MIC's grace, who tries with confusing maneuvers to lure the "left-green gang" in front of the torpedo tubes of his right-wing friends? That would mean, however, that he has kept his true attitude quite secret up until now.

But maybe he's just that Scorpio Lindner that stings those who wear it when they are in the middle of the river.

At about this point I must have fallen asleep at my desk and had a nasty nightmare, 3D image and sound.

Speaker from the off:
the obel as "Tor, Tor, Tor-Herbert Zimmermann" from "The Miracle of Bern" by Buckman

"... There comes Kini Jödler on the right lane, snorting violently under his blue and white bathing cap, he crawls towards the traffic light threesome. Will Skorpion Lindner make it? Two quick stabs, jump off and land safely on Kini's broad back."

But wait, just before Skorpion Lindner can dare the manoeuvre, the Kini dives down, appears in full regalia as a mermaid Shrek, splashes gracefully over the water and sounds in the finest Bavarian*: "First you must confess your sins, dear Christian, and return to the bosom of the Catholic Church!"
*Automatic translation

Luckily I woke up again, was drenched in sweat and couldn't write anymore because my heart was pounding.

Please send your vote to: spitzenamen@reaktorpleite.de

What could be the right nickname for Christian Lindner?

1. PR witcher Lindner

2. Bankruptcies Lindner

3. Submarine Lindner

4. Scorpio Lindner

5. or ... ?

So much for the entertainment program.

The real goals of the nuclear lobbyists

This unspeakable farce about the last three nuclear power plants in Germany is all about power and money. The climate and the impending catastrophe are of interest to the "lords of mankind" only marginally.

Decades of successful work on climate change to get to the treasures under the ice, and now everything is said to have been wrong? It just doesn't fit into the worldview of well-armed and always victorious conquerors. After all, the Bible already says that man should subdue the world...

The taxpayers' money should not be spent on 9 euro tickets, cheap housing and heating subsidies, but on MIC and for those who appreciate MIC. MIC guarantees the security and stability of the balance of power for the cream foam floating on top. The 100 billion were only a modest beginning and it has the "Friends of MIC" really sharpened, because now they know exactly:
There's more!

Because whoever twitches even once in this power game has lost, and then, after a three-month extension, there will be a further five-year extension, and then new nuclear power plants will be built in Germany again.

MIC has time and MIC is irresistible, because MIC has what gives real power in abundance: money, guns and plutonium!

1. Plutonium is the most toxic man-made poison in the world.
2. It's useless for anything except nuclear bombs.
3. Over the past 80 years, MIC has produced countless tons of it.
4. It only takes a few milligrams to kill a human, which means we already have more than enough of the stuff to wipe out this planet multiple times.

Why do they wantFriends of MIC“Do you need more and more of this?

It is about maintaining power for MIC, the military-industrial complex that leads the pseudo-politicians of this world on a long leash and has the trillions fetched for them: Pay special attention to point 4

Climate catastrophe

is the term for climate change with worldwide catastrophic effects. This also includes uncontrolled global warming, for example as a greenhouse-earth scenario. In the mass media in particular, the term is often used as a framework for interpreting the feared consequences of man-made climate change. Sometimes, even in climate impact research, drastic consequences are referred to as climate catastrophes. Climate catastrophes serve as motifs in literature and film. If left unsolved, the current political, social and technological climate crisis would result in a climate catastrophe...

resistance (politics)

Resistance is the refusal to obey or active opposition to the authorities or the government.

It is initially of secondary importance whether the rulers against whom resistance is being exercised exercise their rule legally, legitimately or illegally. Evaluations such as "justified resistance", goals and means of resistance, moral and legal concerns require an observer's point of view: it depends on who, where and at what time the evaluation is made. The resister will always evaluate the resistance differently than the one against whom the resistance is directed. The latter, however, is usually the "authority" who at the same time has the power to define law and order. Accordingly, resistance is outside the set order.

background and demarcation

Resistance as a form of social and political debate has been anchored in European political culture since ancient times. In almost all forms of society there was or is a consensus that resistance can be necessary and legitimate in certain cases. In specific cases, opinions sometimes differ.

Resistance must be distinguished from revolution because it is not fundamentally aimed at reforming the social order. In certain circumstances, the restoration of an old law or a legal system that has been repealed can be the central concern. Nevertheless, a movement that started as a resistance can lead to a revolution...
